Whatever it takes, PLEASE get one of the Freelander Sporrans! They are THAT good.
You can also hit BearKilts.com to see what he's offering these days. Bear has a habit of finding the "not boring" stuff out there to go along with his original designed kilts.
Other than that... hit any of the numerous Renn Faire and Celtic festivals in the area to see what the vendors are offering. Some of my best sporrans cost less than $40 (usd) and are hand-made by artisans. Those festivals are a wonder for finding things! Chances are that you'll also be able to have a sporran belt fashioned by the same vendor right there on the spot! I've done it four times now!
~NOTE~ You might also have a member in Maryland take a look for you at the Maryland Renn Faire. There's a vendor there EVERY YEAR that deals in leather, and sells sporrans for $30 - $50... celtic knots, celtic symbols, all colors, and wonderfully made.
