Wow - your news reminded me...in April, 2004, my husband and I took two of our kids (who were 17 and 22 at the time) to Scotland for a long anticipated family trip. Being on a budget, we took a tour with a van-tour group called MacBackpackers, and spent a wonderful 4 days in the Highlands. One of the very strong memories was the guide/van driver, Doug Bellamy, playing the Proclaimers tune I Am Going (500 Miles) fairly frequently and requiring the participants to be able to sing it. No question, it was a real bonding experience for everyone.
