			diving into full time...

Hello forum! I am a newly kilted brother who has been lurking here and now am posting my tale. My story begins a long, long time ago (June 5, 2005) in a far, far away land (Asbury Park, New Jersey). It was the NJ Pride Festival and my church was there with a table and tent. It was the first hot day of the summer and when I saw a vendor selling modern kilts (it was Utilikilts), I thought; "now here's a way to cool off" and so I purchased my first kilt. Needless to say, I was in Unbifurcated Bliss! Upon returning home, I explored the internet for kilts and the likes and discovered a whole nation of men who wore nothing but... My courage was bolstered and I decided then and there that I would (at least try to) be a full time kiltie. So far I have succeeded and the response has been very positive, especially from my credit card company!!!. I now own five UK's, three 4 yrds in various poly-v tartans, and my first 4yrd wool kilt from Campbell's as well as a tweed jacket. I just recently ordered (after the loan was approved) :o my first 8yrd kilt in my family's (Buchanan) tartan from Geoffrey(Tailor).
I'm looking forward to hearing from you...Court

"Unbifurcated Bliss!" I love that expression, I might borrow that!
I'm been full time kilted for over a year, I love it, even tho' my wife and every man and his dog think I'm a bit strange.
I love to try to see if there is any activity in my life that cannot be done in a kilt. The only thing I've found so far is scubadiving (but that has been done before too).

So congrats in your decision to be an individual and follow your dream. You'll find lots of encouragement here, as I have.

Thanks for the welcome. I am glad to be "aboard". I'm a bit of a computer novice, so please bear with me if I don't navigate around properly or in a timely manner. When it comes to swimming on the internet, I've still got water-wings on! So far the only activities I haven't tried doing in a kilt, are going to the gym and swimming.
With regards the $$$. I was rather hoping y'all might see your way clear to a small loan?
But seriously, this could make me take up sewing as my next addiction to support this one! Court
