Absolutely wear the kilt! 1. Rather than draw attention away from the wedding party, you will be showing them how much care you have taken to look presentable for the wedding. 2. A kilt, especially when worn formally, adds an aura of respectability to your garb. 3. If people seem to be making more fuss over your kilt than the wedding party, gently remind them that this is your friend's special day, and that you dressed in your kilt to show your respects.
