This looks like a great site. I may have to get one of those kilts myself.

Oh man, another kilt. I guess I don't have to eat this month!

I tell you what... anyone that's willing to fork-over the necessary money to get the machinery to make proper 22-ounce kilts DESERVES some consideration! Those are NOT an easy task to tackle.

My only problem is not with them. It's trying to find a place to wear that heavy of a kilt! I'm sure that the first St. Patrick's Day parade in freezing temperatures will change THAT notion!

    Ahhhhhh Geeeeeee....

Sooooo hard to go to What Price Glory and not drool on the keyboard.

    Gordon and Cameron kilts....my clans...

An RAF Officer's battledress jacket on sale $150 in my size...should look great with a kilt. My father was a pilot in the RAF during War 2, but only a Flying Sergeant being American...so might not be appropriate....wish the pic was better....keyboard shorting out...zzzzapppp

    I am soooo weak!

Couldn't resist, called Jerry and ordered up one of the RAF battledress jackets.

Gotta look good with many of my kilts!!

there was a number of US Airforce flying RAF prior to US entry, probably continued after. Spotter of Bismark was illegal neutral flying combat. Does this ease your conscience?

I've got a 22 oz kilt. Let me assure you that it is bullet proof. I wear it winter hiking in the Blue Ridge, and have not managed to snag it in the last five years. But be aware: It is HEAVY and more than a little scratchy because of it.

The "Highlander Walking Out Package" seems to be a really good deal, especially if one were trying to put together that look.

Wow! The jacket arrived. Wonderful reproduction. Ordered up some Sgt's stripes and RAF War 2 wings, sewed them on and am now ready to wear it in our local Veteran's Day parade in honor of my father's service.

Gotta find a kilt to go with it...

Let us all observe a moment of silence for Ron . . . he's forced to get another kilt . . .

Perhaps the pipers in the group could play an appropriate dirge. ;)

    MOD 22 oz kilts

    Hello There,

CaRbomb mentions that anyone that invests in the machinery has his support. The kilts at What Price Glory are made in Pakistan. The Packies are the ones that invested. Jerry has a pretty good product all things considered. However they are not has heavy as the real issue kilts. Good kilt for the money. Just don't kid yourselves your getting the real thing. The real thing is still available out there.
