Although this is a product you can get through the kiltstore (link above), I don't think I "get it."

Someone brought these to light a while back and I wasn't real impressed with them then either. I think you guys are right on about the kilts being for the fashionistas vice the regular/casual wearer. If I were to be thinking of getting one of these I think I would wait until the fashion wave passes and the price does a drastic drop or better yet, grab one cheap off ebay once they are out of style.

This is funny-not my style or idea at all: but if a chap wants to wear one-why not?
The joke being that as they are not pretending to claim a highland heritage, I do not have a problem.
