Don't you all know that the Klingon Empire was started by a bunch of Highlanders who captured an alien ship and set off into the stars, only to land on the planet Klingon. The Klingons didn't kill them because they liked their bagpipes!

Close, but I think you've got one fact mixed up, the scots BEAT the klingons! Much as I enjoy my Star Trek, I think they could have done it.
