I was wondering...I saw some tall socks by Dr. Scholls awhile back that looked somewhat like hose...thickish, knit-like, and for the calf, but they're made for diabetics or something like that, loose-ish at the top, and I don't know if they stay up very easily
Stay away from these!!! They could be compression socks, which if you are healthy do not wear, because they constrict the blood flow. If you wear them for any period of time when you remove them you will see that your skin will be extremely pale and sore. Think of putting an adult foot into a childs nylon dress sock and wearing them for all day long. The diabetic socks... depending on the style are not complete socks near the toes and heal.
ok thats my rant about them (i worked in a drug store for 20 years), when the majority of items in a drug store were health related items. :-P
