I work from home, tool and die design and 3d modeling, so I am kilted most of the day. About the only time wear trousers is when visiting clients. A funny bit the other day, my new neighbors said they aren't sure if they can do yard work as they have no kilts to wear. My kilts are (5)l UK's, a couple of Stillwater standards, an ALexis Malcolm USMC tartan and 2 Sportkilts. I use the Sportkilts for around the house wear or as I am now sitting at the 'puter. For real comfort I also wear a Kokoi from FabricAfrica.com

I don't wear kilts at work (I'd force the issue, but this office is messed up enough without me rocking the boat by wearing kilts - they actually complained because one of our IT guys wore jeans over here when he was installing new PCs and such) but I do wear them at all other times possible.
I have a khaki original UK and a Kiltstore casual Clark Ancient kilt. I wear the UK more than the other, but I do wear the casual when I'm out somewhere nice - for dinner, church, what have you. I need more...

They better not let the IT guys find out who complained about the jeans of those people will find themselves at the bottom of the list when they have problems. It just ain't smart to piss off the IT guys.

It's been tried, trust me.
The department is small enough that such a thing would be obvious real quick and the head of the department would come down hard. Plus our IT manager is a nice guy, but a little bit easy to push around, especially if you're above him in the pecking order.
It's one of the reasons our IT department has such high turnover.

I prefer kilts to shorts or trousers but going 24/7 isn't practical for me at this point.
At home bumming around I'll be in my Navy Stewart Sport Kilt.
My USA Kilt Gordon Modern is my dressier kilt for the office and social events short of a wedding funeral or ...
I had a UK Survival which was nice but weighed a ton so I hocked it on ebay to finance a PK Forest MarPat which is still in production. This will become my outdoors kilt.
I don't see a Tank in my future but I expect to begin working on a home made wool in the near future.

I have two Macneil tartaned wool casual kilts a USA traditional in Modern Gordon and three sport kilts. I don't wear kilts every day, except for the Sks around the house. I would like to go kilted more, but I stay around my home a lot, especially since the price of gas has skyrocketed. Right now I'm wearing a cheap cotton SK.

I'm at work in my Khaki UK Mocker. I've been kilted full time for about two months or so, except for a motorcycle ride or two and yoga class.
I've got this Mocker, and Olive Original UK, a standard Nightstalker SWK, a brand new AK in Putty, a black Mocker on order (due any day) and just ordered a Graphite Bull Denim PK.
