I won't climb, (rock climbing,) in a kilt, nor will I rappel. I also won't ride my motorcycle in a kilt. I have, but I don't find it to be modest or comfortable, (and the road rash would stink).

I can "tuck" the kilt sufficiently to ride my CBR as long as I don't move around on the saddle, but I only did it once: the thought of a get-off was just too frightening. Besides, I try to dress for the crash, not theride and that just doesn't meet my safety standards (no knee and hip padding). That's about the only one for me, though.
Bryan...since I don't bungie-jump...

Gym workout (stationary bike and lifting), swimming, scuba diving. Can't think of anything else off the top of my head. It truly is a versatile garment.

For me, personally, I just can't seem to bring myself to do roof repairs in my UtiliKilts. It's not that it won't do the job, or that I fear "flashing" anyone down below... but I'm not able to control the pleats to where I don't occasionally step on them while squatting-down to do shingling. It's more of a safety issue than anything else. Before anyone suggests that I use the "privacy snaps" on the UtiliKilt, they just don't work well on mine.

Frankly, the things that are not the best to do kilted are the things I either don't do or don't want to do.
In my work, as in my leisure, i find myself tailoring my jobs to the things I can do kilted.
Wanting to wear a kilt all the time is actually changing the way I work and the work I decide to take on, weird isn't it?

Swimming, I wouldn't do it, however, I received a phone call from one of my customers boasting he had just had been swimming in his kilt on the weekend. Now he did mention that he was three sheets to the wind.....the kilt survived the ordeal wonderfully.
