"I would not mind wearing a kilt because I hear you don't have to wear underwear with it and I would like that. Is that true or is it just a rumor?"
Its very annoying to have to put up with questions like this, In Scotland it doesnt happen as often but in England you are constantly asked. I normally say a magican never reveals his secrets so why should I. It dismays me when one goes to so much effort as to wear the kilt people focus on some silly legend about whats worn underneath. when I see a lady in the street wearing a skirt i would never approach her and quiz her about her undergarments, and I expect the same courtesy in return.
last year at a ball in England in aid of a cancer charity I was followed to the toilet by a gaggle of drunken women all wanting a peek, I was appaled by their behavior and pointed out that real ladies would not behave in such a manner. I sure lots of men might be thrilled by the attention, however I wear the kilt out of pride for my country and becasue it "rocks" not as an excuse the have my nether regions examined by drunken women who by any stretch of the imagination could never be called ladies. Ive never heard anyone ask such a rude question.
