This is not acceptable. I should be hitting at least 1300 to 1600 according to my doctors. Depending on my activities for the day.
Bother. I need to figure out what to do to fix that. That might slow down the weight loss. I could probably stand to lose more weight, but I know for certain I am losing muscle mass, which is never good. So I need to up my calories a bit.
Today though, I think I got my calorie fill. I devoured a whole fruit basket given to me by somebody that hates fruit baskets as a gift. Woo. One grapefruit, three oranges, 2 sour green apples, a bosc pear, one mango, a banana, some grapes, one tangelo, a nectarine, and 2 plums. My wife helped a bit. She ate the peaches.
What can I say... I hadn't eaten anything all day and I was ravenous.
Unless you can't eat them, try packing some nuts into your diet. I know you're trying the vegetarian route, and nuts carry a lot of calories. Also try olives and avocados. Lots of good fats.
