I liked the Idea of the Xmarks tartan that had more white in it being the "Dress Tartan"
But a Hunting tartan would be neat.

But with both of those out there, which one would Graham wear? I mean, he's the grand poo-bah of X Marks (at least post-wise), and he's ancient....

A Sad Delay in the X Marks Kilt
A month ago Kathy told me "Right now I've got to finish kilts for a weddding coming up and I can get to yours next."
Today, I got an email, "it should be about 6 more weeks to finishing everything. Can't wait to see how you like the pattern of the tartan sewed into the kilt!"
So another compliment, but also another six weeks of jonesing. Wish she hadn't got my hopes up with the first email...
At least it promises to be sharp looking...

I don't see why you're complaining, you rat: at least she has your tartan! She hasn't received mine from the mill yet to start my new tank and as James Dean would say, "it's tearing me apart!".
Bryan...the jones is pretty bad today: I might have to buy a new sporran or something...

Ironic, I have two sporrans en route from Buzz Kidder today....to medicate the jones.
My mistake was buying off on the initial promise and setting my "jones guage" to somewhere around now...only to be set back six more weeks...
The tartan has been in her shop since late August...
Hard not to get the feeling that other's are being slipped in ahead of me...which of course gets my ego in a twit...
Somewhere there's a spiritual message here...

Perhaps something like "The universe don't revolve around uranus."? Now where might have I heard that before? :-?
