This is a standard 2nd grade book. We have about 20 copies at our school. The children recite the rikkitikkitambo together. It's good for phonics!

Ah well, I guess since I haven't read it since I was five I've forgotten some of the nuances of the story. I am impressed I remembered the name as closely as I did. And I should have noticed the mix-up with Kipling's Rikki Tikki Tavi.
