    Pierre,

I won't even attempt my French as it is bad, but WELCOME! In deed you found a place to share your experiences.

Yes jerks are every where. The other day I was with a friend walking to my car, me kilted and he in trousers, when someone yelled something from his car. My friend says that he gets those comments all the time, and thought that they were directed to him and not me.

I am so glad that you have discovered the comforts of kilts. Many of us found out how great they are past the age of 50.

    Again welcome.

Welcome to the forum!!!! Dont worry, comfort comes with experience. Ive been kilted for about 8 months now (Im 23) and it just feels so natural. I rebel every time my girlfriend wants me to wear pants!!!!! Anyway, enjoy your kilt and forget about the ignorant people. Ive discovered that they just dont have what it takes to say anything to your face, only driving by at 40mph. Cowards.

    Welcome Parpin.

I got a good reaction from a biker recently. He was about 2 meters tall and almost as wide guy at the local mall. He had a bald head, full beard, pilot jacket, metro BDU pants and military boots. The classic type He was there with his girlfriend and he smiled and gave me two thumbs up... wonder what kind of friends the kilt will get me

Pierre, another welcome from the west coast! Congratulations on wearing your kilt for the first time; it gets easier the more you wear it.

    All the best,
    David

    Welcome Pierre,

Looks like your "******** detector" is tuned in and working well.

You'll find more compliments than stupidity I'm sure.

    Keep on Kilt'n
