You do take a great photo, you look good in anything you wear (even that rainbow kilt).
The quality of the photos is tops, what camera did you buy?
The kilt looks good on you. I'm still deciding whether I like the buttons, I prefer straps, and I like a selveged edge rather than hemmed.
Just my personal preference.
It looks well made and the colour in nice, smart enough to wear a jacket with!
Oh, Graham, you do know how to flatter a chap! Many thanks all the same, and thanks too to Bryan and Jewddha. It really is nothing more than accessorising and colour-co-ordinating with care and attention!
The new camera? Well, it is an upgrade on the previous one which has begun to have a mind of its own - but then, I have given it a pretty good work-out over the past three years or so. The new one is a Fuji FinePix S9500 and it cost me more than two average-priced 8 yarder strome kilts - what a sacrifice, I've made ;). It has many more features than the FinePix 6900Zoom, such as 9 million pixels against 3 million, and it will take me a long time to get used to using it.
The Kilt? Like you, I had reservations about the buttons before I saw a Freedom Kilt 'in the flesh' whilst I was in Canada, and I have to say that they actually look 100% better than they photograph. As for the hem: there is a little puckering, but I'm sure that will disappear when I have worn, and pressed, the newness out of the kilt, and you don't really get a selvedge edge with cotton or poly-cotton, in my experience.
Early next week, I'll give my report on it.
