There's nothing wrong with you. Your post makes me think, though, of the differences among us.
There are many, like you, who make kilting a full-time deal. That's great.
On the other hand, there are those like me. I own one kilt. It's a hand-sewn, 8-yard tank that cost me a lot of money. I wear it for formal occasions and Scottish or Celtic events. I don't desire to wear it every day.
Nor do I crave all sorts of new kilts. I DO want one more, probably an Irish National Stillwater, that I can wear to Irish festivals and on St. Patrick's Day, spill beer on it and throw it in the washer.
I'm not criticizing anybody's choices. I just find our range of devotion to kilt-wearing interesting.
