On the other hand, there may be some in just a kilt, sporran, t-shirt and boots, and at least one or more Utilikilts. Hell, if the kilt's dirty, just wear a t-shirt with a kilted Scot on the front, we'll get the idea.
I'm sure by now you've seen that there's a difference between "formal" kilted style, and dressing casually in a kilt. Don't let "The Rules" stop you from having fun; even the Kilted Guru dresses down occasionally!
