The Funny Side!
I cannot remember who-sorry, but a bit back someone was explaining on this board the difference between a skirt and kilt-waxing lyrical about the aprons-pleats etc.
I'm as I might have said am very pleased with my new Highland Granite Hillwalker from Hector Russell-and still am.
Anyway I bumped into a lady I know and the following conversation took place:-
'I do do like your new kilt, that grey is very smart'.
'Thanks'.
'It's nearly the same grey as our school skirts used to be'.
'Yes, but this is a kilt'.
'I know, just like our school skirts.'
I had to either creep away and shoot myself, or think it all very funny-I chose the funny: at least she admired the kilt.
