    Hey Jacob,

    Think you'll find those garment steamers Bubba mentioned the easiest answerer. They're inexpensive too. I can have my pleats back with a steamer in less time than it takes to set up the ironing board and get the iron ready to roll.

    For me, ironing on the floor is the only way to go, ironing boards are way too small and I have the weight of the kilt not on the ironing board pulling all the time. Course I have tight weave carpet to iron on.

    I just hang my kilt up on the shower curtain (on a hanger) while I take a shower...it seems to relax the wool , and after Im done in the shower I just pull my fingers through the pleats top to bottom and they come out fine never have pressed my kilt, never have taken it to a dry cleaners either

    some woolite, and a bath tub works good to clean it, hell its even taken out Guinness spills on the front apron!

    Yes, but at least we know his bathtub is nice and soft in addition to being clean.
