 (can I take a moment here and point out a pet peeve of mine? don't think I'm singling you out, I've seen this done plenty of times. the statement "I'm sorry if" blames the victim for their sensitivity. Would you be sorry if they were not offended? That indicates seeing a fault in yourself that needs correcting. Do you see the difference? again, it's not you, it's just here as an example.)
