There's always a leather satchel, army canvas satchel, or a briefcase or messenger bag, but the latter two are probably too big for your needs.
I've always thought it's a real shame there's not some sort of small-to-medium size purses for men that are acceptable in the Western world. There's fanny packs, but they're not really anything but ultra-casual or working wear. They should come out with a tool belt for 'real' tools like your glasses and cell phone.
