I have to agree with Mat and Hamish. The Saltire is too fadish. As Hamish points out, the Granite is very versitile.

You can't go wrong with either. Personally, I'd go with the Saltire. It would be MUCH more fun explaining it to the non-kilted who know just enough to ask "What tartan is that?"

Congratulations on the 20th. I would prefer the granite in any case, but I think it is particularly appropriate for an anniversary. Just the name "granite" suggests strength and permanence, which seems particularly suitable on this occasion.
