Just a couple of queries

I like wise have found that I am being logged out after a short period of time, over the past 24 hours or so. With the exception of the current log on.

It been slow off and on for the last week of so - earlier tonight it was slow, but it's fast enough right now.

I wonder if the trouble might be search engine spiders crawling the site.

The site is moving just fine for me tonight but I have had issues with it for the last couple of days. I'm assuming that the issue is part of the same problem we've had in the last few months being that the server is shared with another application that is apparently a heavily hit one. It just slows XMarks down.

As far as David goes (this to Hamish) I recently received a new sporran from him and had some questions and have had no issues communicating with him.

That all being said there IS a new worm floating around the net. I've not had an obvious issue with it but the ISP's are probably scanning more traffic ih order to mitigate the problems. This could well slow down things AND perhaps interrupt some email traffic.

Hope that's all it is.

The few problems I've had have been chalked up as part the internet experiance. Knowing a bit about the tech running in the background helps keep the frustration level down too. :grin:

I have had problems posting the last few days, however it also depends on certain times of the day when the problems do occur.

Knowing that David is busy this time of year, I am sure that may be the problem there, as I do see his posts even today.

So Ham do take heart, as you are not alone.

I heard from David last week and he was fighting the flu. Hopefully he is better this week and will again honour us with his wit and unique (austin Powers-ish) humour.

It is also possible that Ham's eMail is being treated as Spam by a spam filter or the ISP, and Ham's messages may not be making to his inbox. I would try PM and see if he responds.
