Michael, I am hoping you are kidding by asking this, but you may not have been part of many forums. "Spraying the screen" refers to reading a particularly funny post soon after taking a sip of a beverage. The concept being that the humor causes you to "spray" the screen in laughter. This would lead to Shrerry's post that she hoped we all recieved screen wipes in our stockings to clean up from the humor!

Now THAT'S what I call originality!!!
Sure, it's not what the majority of guys around here would wear around... but that's not the point! This is for the guys that are daring enough to press the envelope... and prove it!!!
I wish the them the best of luck with the venture and hope that it only leads to a new understanding of the kilt. Who knows? These guys may some day come over to the "conservative" side and create a whole new line that no one has imagined yet.
I hope they grow "leaps and bounds" with their creativity!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed, Jimmy. I might wear one or two of these things. Not the PVC or the Punky Scot, but maybe one or two of the others. They're really not that much different from a regular kilt than a Utilikilt is - they just go another way with the idea.
I really don't see how these are so much different than your PK, UK, AK, etc. other than being made with some different fabrics. Sure, they're hanging off the models' hips a bit more, but I think Iolaus is right - they're just doing it for the look in the promo pictures. I actually like the idea of the cell phone pocket - I'm always struggling for mine in a UK or with a sporran.
Now, if you have issues with PKs, UKs, etc., then yes - I can understand your reticence.

The web pics don't do anything for me, I would like some better pics focusing more on the kilts, rather than the models.
Some look pretty good, but how they are really designed, how they are worn or "fit", it would be nice to see.

Upon further review, and much thought, I find them very unique and somewhat inspiring to those who are not kilted as yet. Maybe because we are some what accustomed to the more traditional look in kilts or the Utilikilt, Amerikilt genre. My guess is that they are trying to be in competition with TFC Kilts.
Granted if I was the around the age of 20 I am sure that I probably be purchasing one.

Gman, to be honest, if I had a body like the models in those pics, I would wear one as well!
Rob... dreaming about being PAID to model clothing... instead of being paid to keep it on!
