    I didn't notice the shoes either, I'm not that critical, I check the overall "look" and you did a great job!

    Water marks on the shoes my be better than red faces of the parrishoners!

    Nice gams, Joel! Great story. Sounds like you warmed the older woman's heart, and presumably vice versa. If you think of it, ask her about the song again. And yeah, my kilt-sportin' boyfriend likes to make sure the shoes match the rest of the outfit, particularly the style of shirt. If people get embarrassed as as result of shined shoes, then they're lookin' a wee bit too close. ;)

    Those Germans had a way with words... referring to the Scots as "ladies from Hell" and the USMC as "devil dogs."
