Market of "Used"
Is there a market of used scottish clothes? Most of eBay auctions are really from commercial shops, not real used clothes.

...and the funny thing is that when you do find some kilts or jackets or complete outfits that are legitimately being sold by a private party, it's a child's kilt that might fit a nine year old.

On the other hand. I'm considering selling my McGregor kilt. It is 36 years old, but, apart from a small repaired tear on the under apron in great shape. Straps have been replaced. It is just short of 7 yards of the finest soft, scratch free wool.
Reason for selling: My circumference is somewhat greater now that it was three dozen years ago, and I don't see it getting any smaller.
I wonder if anyone here might be interested?
I think I will post it in the 'for sale' section and see. Someone will get a bargain.

I envy the thinner people out there. They are able to find great deals on used kilts.. Me on the other hand, I can only dream. Being a big guy does have many disadvantages..

Yep, I can relate to that. That's why I'm selling my MacGregor tank. I was thinner in those days, but have picked up three inches this year alone. Is that part of being 58 in less than a month?
