Nice choice on the tartan buddy! That's not one that you see all the feakin' time!

Welcome to the "educated" ones that have the luxury of actually having worn an honest traditional, and being able to intelligently compare them to other kilts. It's infuriating to try to discuss the difference with someone that has no clue about the difference, and insists that they know. Your input will be a welcome voice in this place!!!!! Good luck.

Being the owner of several traditionals, I can say that there is indeed no comparison to anything else. :-D

That's a very fine looking tartan and I bet the kilt looks great. I can't believe how little time it took for you to get it.

If you don't mind my asking, how much was it?

There's nothing like a handsewn traditional. The price is surpassed only by the quality. I'm sure you will get many years of enjoyment from your investment. I know that since I purchased my traditional my PV kilt has hardly seen the light of day. :-D

The total cost including the extras (shipping and charcoal kilt hose) ended up being $570 cdn. Considering my local shop's cheapest kilt is $800 I consider this a heck of a deal. Scottishkilts also offers the same kilts but machine made for just over $100 cheaper. However I figured since this was my first journey into traditionas, why not pay the extra and get the handsewn.
