A much thank you to everyone's advice on here. Inaki, your'e definitley not wrong on how to respond to the community. I guess if you have friends and family who are supportive that helps quite a bit as well.

The web site worked fine for me -- seems like a very active organization, and there are many links to similar organizations in Utah.

A kilt is clothing, it does no good hanging in a closet. Wear it, enjoy it, the people who you care about will come around, and as for the rest it does'nt matter what they think or say, you won't remember that stuff. Just go out there with confidence, and wear what you want.
