They have Hollyrood in wool, PV, wool blends, poly/cotton, and pure poly.
Steve I found the PV, of course, and the wool in two weights. It's available in poly-cotton, too, but the only wool blend I found in Holyrood was their 5.5 ounce stuff. I'm gonna be mad if this kilt is made out of that stuff.
ANY-way.... I ordered a 5-yard from Caledonian-kilts on ebay in the Holyrood Tartan. The price is good and I'm curious about wool blend kilts. I've wanted a Holyrood ever since I got the sample from N. Batley, when we were looking at them as a possible weaver for the X Marks tartan...they sent me a swatch. Let the Jonesin' begin.

I see Holyrood under 16oz Wool, 13oz Wool, 11oz Poly/Viscose, and the 5.5oz Poly/Cotton. I didn't see a 5.5oz wool blend. Did I miss something?

Well, it has arrived...
and it's VERY nice. The stitching is even and tight. The material is very nice. It has a bit of weight to it, and 20 pleats. The hardware is excellent, the overall quality is very good. Caledonia-Kilts shipped it right when they said they would and my jones was about a week and a half. That's pretty darned good, to get a kilt made and shipped here to California from Scotland in that amount of time. Communication has been very good with the vendor. I'm going to REALLY like this kilt...
...except for one little problem.
It's about 4 inches too small. *ARRRRGGGGHHH******** I just about cried when I opened the bag.
So I will be back to him with a request for another one, in the correct size. We'll see how their customer service goes, so far it's been exemplary. However, the kilt itself is quite nice.

Dang, my forehead just thunked my keyboard hard...
Hope they come through for you.
The right kilt in the wrong size is still the wrong kilt.

Aw, bless your jonesing heart! I hate to see men cry over their kilts.
