    I Don't notice one way or another because I also wear Buckskins with lots of knifes 3 in full view none concealed. People might look and ask questions and I will answer if I can but more relaxed????

    I don't think so. I usually don't bother with a kilt unless I'm already in a laid back mood. Maybe I should try it the other way around.

    Much less stressful gritting of teeth and sudden wincing due to testicular discomfort when kilted.

    Derek,

    I definitely feel more relaxed in a kilt. I think it's a combination of things. For me there is the comfort factor, but also factors of confidence and appearance. I'm considerably more confident in myself wearing a kilt, and from an appearance standpoint, I look much better in a kilt than I do in trousers. I simply do not feel self-conscious even though I know I look different. Frankly, it has amazed me!
