It would make my in laws uncomfortable. And I love to ride all the rides, and a kilt may be hard to deal with.

Has anyone rode a roller-coaster in a kilt?

Yep. went to six flags here in NJ back in early september wearing my kilt as did a buddy of mine. we were good until we went on the MEDUSA which has the sholder harness and a horn like a saddle that comes up between your legs. It was a little tricky to get everything adjusted correctly for comfortable riding, but we survived.
all was good on the rides - screamed like banshees all teh way thru - to scare the peopel below of course. It was only when we got off the ride & looked over at the booth where they show the photos taken mid ride did we notice something amiss...
I was fine as i had a longer heavier kilt on than my bud's. But all of the goods were on display for the world to see if they were to look. The 4 of us in the photo (me. my bud & two other friends) DIED laughing when we saw it as boig as life up on the monitors where they have teh most recent pics - much to the bemusement of the staffers in the booth who hadnt noticed the accidental flashing. we quickly bought a set of the pics and high tailed it outta there before too many others noticed.

I would post the pic here but my bud woudl KILL ME if i were to give him that much exposure - not that it hasnt been seen by more than its fair share before but i digress...
