I have two corduroy kilts, and have had for some time. One is from TFCK in Edinburgh and the other is from UnionKilts in Wales. (There are photos in my Album but unfortunately it is still down with server problems - as is Ron's). As with all the kilts in my Kollection, I just love the corduroys. They are a little too warm for British summer wear - unless we are having a typical English summer day (cool and cloudy;)), but are superb for spring and autumn. I was surprised at how well the fabric holds the pleats - but I haven't got either of them wet in the rain yet!! Obviously, the Utilikilts' version will have the pleats sewn in from waist to hem, so pleat-holding will not be a problem.
I'd be ordering one for myself - I like the look of the blue model - but Utilikilts are accepting only 'phone orders at the moment ...... and I am NOT making expensive calls from the United Kingdom. I'll wait for their on-line facility to come back!
