While I rarely get on my bike without proper riding gear, my mindset every time I ride is that I won't be falling off my bike.
I tend to be a very defensive driver when I drive, whether it's on a bike or in a car/truck/bus/etc. It's kept me alive and accident free (and ticket free) all these years.
Have a ridden a motorcycle in a kilt? Once, when I went to buy my current bike. I rode it around the seller's neighbourhood a few times to see how it ran and I was wearing my UK at the time. Knees in the breeze, man!
