Something I have pondered myself many many times.

David,
I have a copy of the CD "Shine On" by Elaine Morgan (Derek's wife), with Derek on keyboards, guitars, bass guitar, bongos and backing vocals. I can honestly say that it is one of my all-time favourite CDs. It is excellent. Elaine and Derek are very talented musicians and very nice people.

Oh, and I'll endorse every word of that Rob. I too have "Shine On". I also have their "Evensong" CD (and a couple of compilations that Derek put together for me!) and I'm always playing them. Hearing them perform live, as I did in September, was a great privilege.

Derek
I don't suppose the ones you saw were Scottish fans coming down early to sample the beer and sights?

Patrick .. I doubt it very much. Two of the tartans were defn 'Prince of Wales' the other certainly looked like the Welsh National. I have seen several people wearing their Cilts in a casual way in the city centre over a period of time, just ambling around with their girlfriends/wives on a busy Sat afternoon. I too have worn my Cilt a few times as well. Hope we can still meet up on the 12th Feb.
