I wonder what she would have done if you had tried to snap a pic up under HER skirt, if or course she was wearing one? Would she have called the law and had you arrested as a sex pervert and you would have to register as one for the rest of your life, or would she have thought it was cute? I haven't had anyone yet attempt to lift my Kilt but I've often wondered what would be the best thing to do, any suggestions?

Well, she certainly got the answer to the question. She deserves to be embarrassed. It was done without your knowledge. What Alan was experiencing - a woman trying to take a picture up his kilt and following him around for 45 minutes to do so is sexual harrassment.
I haven't been confronted with this situation yet. It's bound to happen. If done by a women I will probably point out the fact that if the situation were reversed, I could be thrown into a paddy wagon and halled off to the slammer.

I'm sorry but if a man had taken a picture up a women's skirt he would be arrested and charged with a felony and been branded a sexual predator for the rest of his life.
Yet why do people feel it's perfectly all right to do it to someone in a kilt?
I was at a wedding last April kilted and several people surprised me by quickly shoving the disposable cameras on each table under my kilt to snap a picture. I was recovering from surgery so I was in a wheelchair at the time. I'm just glad that I was wearing something underneath and that it was clean.
But the bride and groom were not happy with that many photos of my underwear.
Of course, even the professional wedding photographer got in on the act. He put all of the official wedding photos online for people to purchase if desired and there were tons of me and several closeups of my formal sporran.
The groom even commented asking why everyone at the wedding was so fascinated by my crotch.

Only having a laugh.....
I just don't get some people. Groping underneath a womens skirt with a camera would land a prison sentence and an appontment with the sex offenders register here in the U.K. - assuming that the pertinent laws were to be applied to both genders equally.
Playing Melvin Udall in the movie 'as good as it gets' Jack Nicholson defined women thus:- "I think of a man, and I take away reason and accountability"
Whilst it's not possible to generalise (in general), there are always going to be one or two nutters who think that the rules of civilised behaviour only apply to other people. Perhaps a carafe of water aimed in the right direction might cool the ardour of such hypocrites....

There are no excuses for such behavior, period.
If I were the bride who paid for the photo developing, I'd track down those who took the under-kilt pics, & make them reimburse me for their tackiness.
It seems sad that one might have to attach a note to the camaras letting it be known that any embarrassing or rude photos are not acceptable. And I thought it was irritating when ppl let their children go around taking pictures of ppl's knees!
