That's very nice. It also made me think of the fact that your niece and her husband may not have recognized you from across the street if you were not kilted. You got lots of attention, people asking questions, and relatives. Every time out in the kilt is a new adventure!
Tomorrow I'm wearing my Irish National to our local Irish pub. I told my son that I will probably get a pint on the house and a free t-shirt for wearing it. And, there will probably be great conversation. I agree, the kilt is a joy to wear.
