I read a book a week, but I don't know how much is of value here. But I love books and reading. So I would look into the forum, might even be persuaded to help.

This is right up my alley! I've participated in books swaps (and swaps of other kinds)
I'd be happy to see a forum and even happier to help if you still need a mod- luckily my schedule is pretty flexible.

I read lots of books, but probably stuff no one here would be interested in. I like dusty old tomes about obscure theological issues.

Ah, books. One of my great loves. I'd definately read and post, though I have no time to be a mod.

Interesting idea! I read a ton of novels, mostly crime/drama/horror stuff. I also rarely buy a book new, too darn cheap to do that! LOL
We have a book exchange setup at the various Transit garages, so I always keep my eyes open for books that look interesting. I currently have about 35 books set aside to be read. Once I'm finished with them I take and donate them back to the exchange. They cost 50 cents to buy.
