Ian's older son in a kilt
I've been posting for a bit now, but have yet to post something in "Show us your pics". So I am gonna start with my son, Caleb.
These pics are old, he is 4 years old now, but these pics are from when he was 15 (approx) months old. My parents made his kilt and sporran which he quickly out grew. What we learned is that it is very difficult to get a kilt to hang right over a diaper.

That's too cute Ian.
My son is also 4 (5 in April) and has been wearing a kilt since just before he was 2.

Too cute!
It reminds me tho', I've got to rehem my youngest son's kilt. I took the hem down since it needed letting down about an inch. I'm so glad that boys' kilts have hems in them!

No, he doesn't. I wish he did. We held off and getting him anything for a while cause he grew alot from 18 months to 3 yrs. I think now it would be safe to get him a child's kilt, but money is tight, Pittsburgh Kilts is dormant, and I don't have the time or energy to make him one. Perhaps I can talk my parent's into it (again ;) ).
The wee kilt from those pics, can go to my 2nd son in a year (he's only 4 months old now).

Ian,
That is such a neat set of pictures! I am particularly fond of the sporran. Good thing that you can recycle the Kilt to your youngest, I am sure that he will look great also.

I got my son's kilt at www.tartantown.com I think we only paid about $40 cdn for the kilt and $3 for the dancer's socks.
The kilt is PV and machine washable (great for kids). We got him a size 6 when he was 2 (hey, his daddy is 6'4 and very broad) and luckily it fit just perfect for my sister's wedding this past summer. I will either try and make him a new one or see what I can find at the Highland Games this summer (they are always full of kid's kilts). Truth be told, the only reason I ordered Blackwatch as my first kilt was to match the one I had gotten him a few months earlier (yes my son beat me to kilt wearing). We made him a fake fur sporran and some flashes.
Here is a pic
