Thanks for the lead. I'll have to check them out. That is a great shot, btw, of your son. Very artistic looking. I had stumbled upon it a while back, and it impressed me. Colin, are you into photography?

I used to be when I was younger, and my sister is a web designer/photographer. However the shot was taken by my wife (I think) who is usually in the habit of lobing people's heads off in photos. I am as suprised as anyone with that one

As for tartantown, the last time I was there they had Blackwatch, Royal Stewart, and a purple tartan I did not recognize. Still not bad for $40.

He is a total cutie, Ian. and looks like he was born to wear a kilt ;)
Thanks. The cuteness comes from his mom.

"Easier diaper changes", In other words: easy access. A reason we all appreciate. Though at that time we did have trouble with the diaper/kilt combo. Not only did the diaper make the kilt hang funny, the lack of pants along with the kilt waist band cause the diaper to work its way down. Later in the day he would toddle around with one hand grabbing his crotch area to hold things up.

"Born to wear the kilt"... I hope so. I hope both my boys embrace it the way I have. I intend to be careful not to push it on them. I will just remain kilted as much as possible and hope the follow my lead.

It's great to be old enough to go regimental! What a neat kid! I hope he's still got that exhuberant attitude.

    Ian,

I was just doing some research into replacing my son's kilt and came across these on the kiltstore site http://kiltstore.net/sr_stmwc_sm102.html? Not bad for $45. If shipped Royal mail there is no delivery charge.
