That's great that this young man has decided to wear the cilt to his prom. I anticipate that his date will really like it. Also, would I be correct in saying that there will be no problems with school administrators with this young man wearing a cilt to his prom?

Why are you writing it cilt instead of kilt, is there a reason or is it simply preference?

he mixed tartans...the one thing my mom was able to beat into my fashion-lame head was never wear two different "plaids" as she called them at the time...
my poor eyes will never be the same...

I thought it might be something like that. I saw a Welsh tartan website spell it like that.
