Though I hate to, I do wear boxers under my kilt at work - just in case....tartan print boxers though. Its worth it!

And Onion...YOU SELL COMFORT AT WORK....one would think that kilts would be a natural extension of that concept. Your most comfortable office chair is EVEN MORE comfortable when kilted. I'm an old corporate guy (with time in NYC too) so understand...but also know that a great "gimmick" can boost sales.

"Well Mr. Prospect, you know our model X432 Superlounger executive chair is as comfortable as science can design a chair. A kilt further increases that comfort...."

TFCK has some great looking kilt suits....

This is the second time since I started wearing kilts that I found myself wearing trousers more often. It's never a good feeling

Onion, I work in a fairly relaxed environment and have never gotten any serious grief for wearing kilts, though my boss likes to tease me. Why don't you try asking your boss about the possibility of wearing a kilt? Have a picture of a good kilt suit on hand to show him how professional it looks. Maybe one with a vest, to get that "3-piece" feel.

Ron, I like the way you think - its all about differentiating yourself from the crowd & wearing a kilt woudl definately do that.... Gonna see the responce at teh above mentioned party and take it from there... BTW just got promised a free computer monitor arm if i do it so the game is on!!!!
gonna head off to the fabric store in a few to grab some black watch tartan to keep me busy this weekend.... will post pics after for sure!!!

Let's just say the boss here isnt the most 'progressive' or 'open-minded' of individuals. I get dirty looks when ever i wear anything other thana bright white dress shirt! I will do it at the party as that's after hours and in the spirit of the event but he woud toss my kilted tush out the door if i were to try it during regular business day... then again if my sales were to suddenly jump after wearing one at the party......
