    On the sporran that I have, the top layer of the leather was supple enough that I just was able to push the pin right through.

    Thanks for the compliments on the kilt -- it's one that I made for a fellow member of this forum!

    I put my X-Marks kilt pin on the flap of my sporran. It looks good.
