I think it would make a perfect pocket for an MP3 player as well.

My Derringer would fit nicely in my sporran but I only have it for it's history, the darned thing might be able to hit the broad side of a barn from the inside, keyword "might" - accuracy is not it's forte'.
Call it a flask pocket.

I echo the thoughts of Oldpagan. After trying to conceal my off-duty weapon in the sporran, it is all I can do to stuff in some money and ID. God forbid I carry anything else.
I think guns hold a fascination for the younger crowd (escpecially in the colonies ;) ).
I hope people will not shy away from the discussion of gun pockets/holsters, as some of us (Police and legal CCW bearers) have a legitimate and pressing use for these conveniences.
Remember there is a high percentage of police who are of Irish/Scottish descent and it seems that a lot more are discovering the joys of the kilt.

People aren't going to shy away from discussion about kilt pockets.
If a thread ends up being about firearms, then that thread will be ditched.
At this point, I see no reason to stop this discussion.

This is the first thread on this website that I've seen regarding that subject, then again I have seen the subject of carrying firearms brought up on mutiple other websites from those ranging regarding cycling to those in fashion.
However, I find it an interesting question considering carry weapon/tools such as the sgian dubh has been a tradition when if comes to a kilts.
I do like the idea of a concealed pocket for different items. I briefly looked on the website and couldn't find a picture of the pocket. So if anyone has one, post it.

OK, that was dumb ...
Pictures will be delayed. In a rare moment of brilliance I remembered that taking pictures of a black kilt - at night is not such a good idea ... Doh !
The kilt still looks good, the pictures suck.
Trying again this weekend.
CT - jimmy dean total dork sausage ...

Lurking
Lads
This is Josh. I try to lurk and keep my teeth together, but I have to butt in and say thanks for the kind words and support from all the gang.
I am re building my site and doing some new photo shoots, so I can showcase some of my new ideas and KILTS!
I am working in the poly viscose tartan as well as wools if it suits you.
My crew and I love making custom to you kilts so if you have questions or ideas for something that you want drop me a line at info@neokilt.com .
Ps a bit of a word on the pistol sleeve.
All politics aside, all of my features have come from customer requests. The sleeve is no different. I have been a self defense instructor for many moon and at a class I was helping with I had some local policemen ask me if I could find a way to make a carrying a bit more comfortable and practical while kilted.
The sleeve also works great for my wallet, checkbook, bee sting kit etc. But dont overlook the other pockets as well!
Thanks everyone
Yours in pleats
Josh
