I can't attest to that, but I requested the kilt without a patch and Seamus obliged without reserve. Nice to see that kind of customer service; my experience with Sport Kilt was professional and pleasant.

Glen, if the SportKilt is custom length, has the pleats sewn down, and has wide belt loops they aren't 'that' bad. See a new option is fringe.

The material is light, which helps down here in the heat. The colors are kinda bold/intense due to the fabric.

Good example is the USMC tartan. SportKilt USMC tartan is bright. A wool USMC tartan is much more subdued.

But, for what they are they're a good value except for the silly pocket. No clue how one is supposed to access that pocket once the kilt is velcroed and belted on.

I know SportKilt, like other contemporary kiltmakers, is prisoner of what the fabric mills kick out to choose from, just wish there were more tartan selections

Don't waste your time or money (like I did) on the SportKilts that are just gathered in the back rather than pleated.

Here's some pics of my three SportKilts. Hope the link works.

Also, been my experience that you can find a few SportKilts at most any Highland Games or Ren Faire.

(Hope I'm not stealing the thread, just "helping" Glen decide if he want's to try one...)
