I only have a few (6) kilts, and I tend to wear the same one for a few days in a row. Hey, I'm a hiker, I've worn the same outfit for five months in a row....

So I usually take off the kilt, then the shirt at night when I go to bed, and drape them over the back of my computer chair. When I wake up in the morning, on goes the shirt, then the kilt, quick as can be - probably ten seconds, all told. Add another fifteen or so for the belt and sporran, and thirty for the hose, flashes, and sgian dhub. Throw on a sweater and sneakers and I'm good to go out the door. I usually wear oatmeal or green (most of my kilts have some green in them) hose, and one pair of flashes (all of my kilts have blue in them), and all my shirts are some variant earth tone, and my sweaters are charcoal. It's easiest if you only have a few outfits.

When I'm getting ready for work it's even easier - black socks, my uniform shirt, and a khaki UK and I'm out the door.

Andrew.
