I have to admit I am fairly a high maintenace dresser when it comes to wearing any of my kilts, I have to make sure if I'm wearing a tartan that I wear the appropriate shirts or sweaters that show off the tartan especially since it's not just a kilt I'm wearing it's my kilt and I always want people to see it in it's best. If I'm out an ABOOT( Canadian for "about") in a self colour kilt I follow the same guid line then its making sure everything is coordinated after all that I ask my wife and she has been awesome about letting me know if I look bad. For the pub T-shirt and Docs always a great way to look and feel relaxed.
