Rain ?

Poly vis dries pretty fast and stays fairly comfortable when wet.

When it rains I just throw on my Inverness cape and a good hat/cap. And I make sure to wear my wool kilt hose because they stay warm even when wet.

Um....what is "rain?"

My most reverent prayer is to someday have the extra money to afford an Inverness Cape...just to look at and admire...the few rainy days here in Arizona are usually in the heat of summer....

I do have a replica Union Cavalry greatcoat with a huge cape...looking it over, cutting off the sleeves wouldn't make it look like an Inverness Cape...but I've thought about it....

We don't need no rain here in Page. We got Lake Powell next door and the snowpack upstream is over 100% this year. We be good and the water's rising.

Supose if it did rain, the best protection for my kilt would be to hop in my car until it passed...

If you kilt does get wet, hopefully you can keep standing until it's dried. Otherwise, when you sit down you will probably have some nasty creases pressed into your pleats.
