It's got a good weight to it, though it's not as heavy as it's size would make you think. Perhaps just a little heavier than the sword pin it's replacing.
I once had a similar kilt pin and I dropped it at one point. One of those really nice looking flat stones popped off and went under my massive solid wood king-size bed that weighs a ton. Needless to say, I'm waiting for moving day and I can finally reach under the bed and get the dang thing so that I can glue it back on. However, mine wasn't anywhere as nice looking as yours. I may just have to indulge myself and get one from that company too. I like the look of it a lot.
