Gray Tartans?!?

Thanks for all of the great gray tartan pics everyone. They're obviously a lot of really nice gray tartans; I just hadn't seen any before.

Ronstew: I really like that picture with you wife because there are 3 different stewart tartans in the same shot, if I'm not mistaken. It's a nice comparison of how they actually look. I'm sort of caught between the black and gray stewart tartans but it seems to me the black is much more common.

Anyway, we'll see how I come out with the taxman this year before I get too excited about a new kilt.

The tartan page looks like it is still in the development process. I was only able to see about ten tartans.

I think it is going to be a big job for David to organize, and one that will be great once complete.

One word of caution for him though, it looks like the pictures of swatches have been lifted other sites. I would watch that closely, as alot of these places have agreements with mills that allows them to use the swatch photos. I somehow do not think David has set up those agreements, and he could be facing some copyright issues. I would hate to see someone's hard work be brought down with something like that. We forget that just because an image is available on Google image search doesn't mean their isn't copyrights involved.
